Grandpa is the rock in my family
He’s always been there, especially for me
With rosy red cheeks and a smile from ear to ear
Chuckles when he tells his stories
His laughter turns to tears
He is our strength
He is our guide
He’s always there
Right by our side
He’s all of these things
And so much more
Grandpa it’s you we adore
A father, a provider, a saint to the core
Lives life by the golden rule
A man of god and more
Advice that he gives me
I cherish ‘til this day
There really is no other
That’s touched my life this way
He is our strength
