About Alexandra
Alexandra began her professional singing career in the Los Angeles area in the
mid-90's, performing in cabaret shows and musical theater. By 2000, she was
focusing her energies on songwriting, performing with some local bands and
recording demos for other LA-based songwriters.
Last year, she relocated to Orange County, California where she is exploring new
music venues and meeting up with local Orange County musicians. Her songs find
their inspiration in both spiritual themes and secular roots. It's safe to say, there is
always some spiritual basis to her songs. Whether the messages are overtly spiritual,
or not, rests entirely on the happenings in her life at the time. Her songwriting doesn't
neatly fit into just Country-folk-pop or Country-Christian genres.
As a vocalist, she loves to sing an eclectic mix of music that includes country,
christian, bluegrass, pop, folk, rock and adult contemporary styles. Her first release
will be a Christian-Country themed album and she plans to release its mainstream
Country-Pop counterpart shortly thereafter. Be on the lookout for a spring-summer
release.
